MA Type: Features a solid outer-guided brass alloy cage; the outer diameter of the cage is spherical. It comprises two semi-solid outer-guided cages positioned opposite each other. The outer ball surface, perpendicular to the contact faces of the two semi-solid cages, features multiple circumferentially distributed oil grooves, which enhance lubrication.

MA-type self-aligning roller bearings are commonly used in mining vibration machinery, vibrating screen machinery and vibration motors, and are one of the key components in such equipment. These bearings operate under harsh conditions, characterised not only by high ambient humidity, high levels of dust particles, high rotational speeds and high temperatures, but also by intense vibration and impact, resulting in extremely high working loads.

The bearings offer high load-carrying capacity, excellent impact resistance, high reliability and good lubrication performance, whilst also being able to compensate for shaft deflection. Generally, dimensional tolerances are P6 and running tolerances are P5; these tolerances are fixed and can be measured according to either imperial or metric standards. Due to the high heat generation of the bearings, the clearance is typically set quite generously. This clearance can be calculated based primarily on the original clearance, tolerance fit and temperature rise.
